Coupons

You may not have time to be an extreme couponer, but with minimal effort you can probably knock a good 60 bucks off of a 400 dollar grocery bill. Here are ways to get some coupons:

  • Go through the newspaper and pick out what coupons you will use.
  • Many grocery stores also have their own coupons you can use.
  • Some products have coupons stuck on them that you can use at checkout.
  • Some products have coupons inside their packaging.
  • Search the web. Some coupons sites I like are
  1. Coupons.com
  2. Coupon Network
  3. Grocery Guide
  4. P & G
  • You can also get great deals by buying things through Groupon.
  • If you go to the website of a restaurant and sign up for their club, they will often send you a coupon.  They usually delay it after sign up so if you are already at the restaurant and decide to sign up you will probably have to wait until next time to use your coupon.
  • Many restaurants have kids eat free days or meal deals, like 2 for 19.99.
  • You can often get coupons for liking things on facebook.
  • Many places offer age based discounts for young children and senior citizens.
  • Software Discounts
